They belong to Vectis Works, of 100 Powell Place #1170, Nashville, TN 37204. Vectis Works designs and builds dashboards for the plant floor, data systems and custom software for manufacturing companies.

They apply to vectisworksystems.com and to each business email Vectis Works sends. Wherever this page says "we", read Vectis Works.

Because your job probably touches the kind of work we do. The people we write to work at manufacturers, in plant management, operations, engineering or IT. Most contact happens by email at work. A call to a business line, or a letter mailed to your company's address, happens only occasionally.

We only write when our services might matter to your company, and asking us to stop ends it.

Answer one of our emails with a note saying you want no more. The exact words make no difference. If someone from Vectis Works phones you, saying it on that call counts the same.

We act on it quickly, and never take longer than 10 business days. After that, your name and email are recorded on our no-contact list. That record keeps you from hearing from us again, even when your details come to us again through some other source.

Only information about you as a professional, and about your company:

• Work details. Your name and job title, the company you work for, your work email, a business phone number and a link to your professional profile, when those can be found.
• Your company. Its name and website, its industry and size, where it is located, and its business address.
• What your company has published. Job postings, news stories and public posts.
• Deliverability results. The outcome of a check on your work email that tells us whether messages to it will arrive.
• Our exchanges. Emails between you and us, plus the notes we keep about those conversations.
• Visits to this site. No cookies are set here and no analytics run. The company hosting the site keeps ordinary technical logs, IP address and browser type among them, so it can serve pages and guard the site. Our typeface is fetched from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when that happens.

Sensitive categories are never gathered: nothing about health, no financial account numbers, no government identification numbers.

• Places anyone can look: news sites, job boards, professional networking profiles and companies' own websites.
• Firms that sell business contact data and company data commercially.
• You yourself: in a reply, through a form you submit, or in a conversation with us.

• Deciding whether our services might suit your company.
• Writing to you at work about those services.
• Confirming an address is valid before we send anything.
• Responding when you write, and discussing or providing our services if you ask.
• Keeping the no-contact list current.
• Keeping our systems safe and meeting the duties the law places on us.

Our emails carry no open tracking, so we never learn whether you opened one.

It is never sold and never rented. No other company receives it for marketing of its own, and it is not handed over for targeted advertising. The only others who see it are:

• Vendors doing work for us: mailbox and email services, email verification tools, suppliers of business data, and the companies that host and store our data. They can use it for nothing except serving us.
• Authorities or other parties, when disclosure is legally required, or needed to defend rights, property or safety.
• Whoever buys or takes over our business, who then has to look after it the way this page describes.

Business contact details stay with us for as long as they help us reach businesses. Entries that have gone stale are cleared out or brought up to date.

Once you are a client, records stay for as long as the engagement and our legal and accounting duties call for them. A no-contact record stays for as long as we contact businesses at all.

Only people with a need for the information can get to it, and reasonable safeguards, both technical and organizational, are in place. Still, nobody can make a system perfectly secure, and we make no such claim.

Ask, and we will:

• show you what we hold on you, and its source;
• fix anything inaccurate;
• erase your information, except the no-contact record that stops us writing to you again.

Some state laws, California's among them, may add rights depending on where you live: to know about your information, to correct it, to delete it, and to say no to its sale or sharing. We neither sell it nor share it. Nobody is treated any differently for exercising these rights.

Requests reach us three ways: a reply to one of our messages, the form at vectisworks.com, or a letter to our postal address. To be sure a request is really yours, you may need to tell us the address our email went to, and we answer inside the period the law allows. Someone you authorize can also send a request for you.

No. What we offer, and what we send, is aimed at businesses. Nothing about anyone younger than 18 is knowingly collected.

We are a US business and the businesses we contact are in the US. Your information is handled in the United States, and in any other place where our service providers work.
